Fairytape is the latest work by the Berlin/Kassel duo The Shna. Beautifully crafted vocal melodies as support of a strong bass/drums base and with suddenly rhythms changes. When it sounds like confortable, expect the unexpected!


The Shna is shnarring in everlasting evilness.
Double-voice meets Drums and Bass. Sounds like Grunge, Indie, Pop, Riot Grrl and some own inventions. 7/8 meet 4/4 beats and Gertrude Stein-poetry neo-collages.
The Shna aus Berlin/Kassel shnarrrt in ewigwährender indifferenter Teuflischkeit. Mit Doppelgesang,
Bass und Drums klingen die zwei Shnas nach Grunge, Indie Noise, Riot Grrrl, manchmal finsterem Pop…und was ganz Eigenes.
7/8 treffen auf 4/4tel-Takte. Manchmal werden Gedichte der Heldin Gertrude Stein neucollagiert.
